France - APRECA 


APRECA is a private in-service adult education organisation created in 1990. Its European vocation emerged first, through its ICT development services/ Apreca also has a language teaching department:  a University of Cambridge examination centre for the Regions of Champagne-Ardenne and Bourgogne, Pilot Centre in France for the DIRECT ENGLISH method developed by the PEARSON group) and since 1991, through the European mobility programme EURODYSSEE.


APRECA has developed its know-how through European programmes as LEONARDO DA VINCI, ADAPT, ADAPT/STEER. Thanks to this experience and a huge network of European partners, APRECA is willing to put its know-how at the disposal of the different public authorities and in this way to be a “logistic platform” in the European transnational programmes.


APRECA has offices in the regions of Ile-de-France, Champagne-Ardenne and Bourgogne and this has allowed the development of an extensive network of hosting companies in a wide range of activity sectors and this is a key factor in being able to find appropriate solutions and outcomes to meet the specific requirements of our European partners.


Since 1990, APRECA has been actively involved with the management of European work placement programs. To date, APRECA has organised mobility projects for more than 15,000 trainees (VET learners, job seekers, apprentices and students). 


Working with a wide network of European partners such as local authorities, private companies and educational establishments, APRECA arranges work placements for French trainees all over Europe and also manages the hosting in France of trainees from other European countries. 


Apreca regularly participates in projects and partnerships with the aim of improving the quality of its processes. For example, APRECA is also a member of the French Expert mobility network, managed by the French National Erasmus+ Agency as is recognised as an official 'mobility developer'.


Latvia – RISEBA Universiy of Applied Sciences 


RISEBA University of Applied Sciences is a university-type private higher educational institution fully accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia. RISEBA is one of the 10 largest higher education institutions in Latvia (both public & private) with almost 3000 students, including 200 international students, who attend 20 study programmes of different levels and specialisations, and more than 9000 alumni. RISEBA provides programmes which are either unique in the market or were first introduced to the market by RISEBA. It is one of the few institutions that offers full degree programmes in three languages – Latvian and English.


RISEBA is spread across five sites: three buildings of RISEBA main campus are located in Riga (the capital city), one regional branch is based in Daugavpils (the second largest city in Latvia). Guided by its vision RISEBA comprises three major academic components or schools:

• School of Business with Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes, which cover the areas of business, management and economics

• School of Media and Communication with Bachelor and Master programmes in arts and communications

• School of Architecture and Design, which currently offers a Bachelor programme in Architecture.


RISEBA is an inter-disciplinary, multicultural university providing the global labour market with intelligent, creative and independently thinking individuals. RISEBA stands for excellent education, internationally recognised degrees, high quality of graduates, excellent research base and highly qualified staff.


RISEBA life long education center also participiates in different kind of projects in national and EU level. During year 2019 there was more than 2000 adults trained in various educational programs .RISEBA delivers higher education in study fields as business and administration, communications, audio-visual media arts and architecture. To implement RISEBA vision - “the place where business meets arts” RISEBA has created Creative Business Incubator to inspire, educate, mentor students and graduates from different sectors to speed up the growth and success of their business ideas, start-up and early stage companies, to support students in the business idea and project development process and acceleration process of the new start-up companies. The main directions for RISEBA Creative Industries are areas are Creative Industries, Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation.One of RISEBA study programs is E-Business which teaches new professionals who can work as project managers in e-commerce, as website designers, managers in e-commerce departments in public institutions and private businesses. Also they can work in e-health, e-government, e-education and e-business and welfare fields.


Our previous experience with the cooperation projects advance our core disciplinary knowledge and address key issues for the society such as creative methods in business and learning to innovation, strategic management and technology. We ensure programmes at RISEBA meet the expectations of the university sector by offering creative study programmes in the various fields: Business, Psychology, Communications, Audio-visual media arts and Architecture.

Finland – Anmiro Oy 


Anmiro Oy is experienced in planning, implementing and evaluating international projects which are targeted to support nascent entrepreneurs, self-employment, rural entrepreneurship (tourism & culture), VET providers as well as to support the integration of vulnerable groups, e.g., elderly people, migrants, ethnic minorities, as well as in providing expert services for project teams, such as sustainable development education, implementation and quality management and internal/ external evaluation.


Most notably, Anmiro Oy contributes to increasing the quality of VET provision in the field of entrepreneurship and integration of training for new skills needed to adopt AI solutions in businesses.


The EU project mission of Anmiro Oy is to assist organisations and businesses in their transnational project application and project management. Accordingly, we consult our clients aiming to find partners for their EU projects as well as providing application preparation services. We have created many successful applications for various EU–programmes (Leonardo, Erasmus+, Comenius, Interreg and other programmes e.g., within Nordic & Baltic Educational Co-operation


The enterprise mission of Anmiro OY is to provide support in the form of expertise for the Finnish and international organizations in their internationalisation, entrepreneurial and sustainable development activities. We promote entrepreneurship and self-employment in general and most notably, we consult new firms/entrepreneurs aiming to survive in during their first years. More important for a business organization than having a large size is to secure sustainable business survival and/or commit themselves to operating in the new markets with a manner that is locally favourable.


Anmiro Oy also cooperates with the regional and local public bodies, social partners, citizens' associations (Third Sector associations or NGOs) as well as many other institutions and organisations in different fields, mainly related to adult education and vocational training. Anmiro Oy is a partner in the project for promoting entrepreneurship of women, youth, seniors, disabled and migrants (Nordplus Adult project please visit: http://www.enable-project.net/. Recently, Anmiro has also been a project, which aimed to give innovative tools for entrepreneurship trainers and to develop tourism enterprises in rural areas (Nordplus Adult project, please visit: https://t4t.yolasite.com/).


In the Erasmus project Keep50+, Anmiro Oy promoted entrepreneurship for people over 55 years old, more info on http://keep50.eu/) and in the Nordplus Adult project Safe, which targeted the people 50+ and the challenges they have to face while competing in the labour market. This project developed and piloted the innovative training programme in self-empowering, entrepreneurship and digital-skills. In the Erasmus+ project Senior volunteers for migrant integration we educated seniors to assist migrants' integration in communities, please see more at http://www.seniors4migrants.eu/. Currently, we are a partner in the Erasmus+ project called Future -ready ed right skills to right job, see more at https://www.futureed2job.com/project. This project aims to meet the challenges of Industry 4.0 by researching the training needs, creating a curriculum, testing the curriculum etc. Most notably, AI is one important area in this project.


UK - European Placement Network 


European Placement Network (EPN) specialises in the management of work placements in the U.K. and Europe. 


Established in 2011, EPN has a wide network of European partners and makes its expertise available to diverse organisations such as local authorities, private companies, universities, vocational training centres and schools. We are thus able to cater for the specific needs of our partners and customers and enhance the employability of participants. 


EPN organises work placements for young people in education and training, students, apprentices and job seekers in the UK and all over Europe. EPN can arrange work placements for those with all levels of qualifications, from GCSE, BTEC and A Levels to those with Masters degrees. EPN currently manages the international mobility programmes on behalf of several European regional governments.


EPN proposes the following services that can be tailored to meet the specific expectations and requirements of partners: 


-        Help partners and customers Assist customers in the research and development of projects and funding

-        Offering work placements tailored to a person’s profile, skills and qualifications

-        Organise appropriate language training in partnership with recognized schools

-        Propose suitable accommodation

-        Provide close monitoring to beneficiaries throughout their stay

-        Coordinate the certification and valorisation of acquired skills and competencies with sending partners (ECVETS, Europass, portfolio ...)

-        Assess and evaluate the relevance of the actions, the results of projects and participate in their dissemination.


EPN also plays an active part in programmes and E.U. funded projects that aim to develop new innovative approaches to mobility projects and to facilitate life-long learning through structured experiences in working environments.


In addition to the Head Office in Bristol, EPN has an office in Manchester.


Greece - ANKA 


The Development Agency of Karditsa, in short, ANKA., is a Development Agency of Local Authorities S.A. Company, represents a necessary tool at the disposal of the Prefecture of Karditsa and the wider area. The leaders of local authorities set it up on 1989. Since then, ANKA. has accumulated great expertise in various fields, which has been proved valuable in any development effort of our area. The Company's main objective is to help develop, manage, maintain, protect and make the best use of natural resources, introduce innovation and entrepreneurship in the productive system; introduce and increase the use of renewable energy sources; support and develop new collective structures, contribute in social development and the general development of Karditsa and other areas in Greece, if requested. This service is organised and delivered in a scientific way.


The Company is engaged in:

1) Technical support to Local Authorities (OTA), Associations of Municipalities and Communities, development associations, companies governed by local authorities and other legal entities established or consisted by these bodies.

2) Technical support to cooperative organizations located in Karditsa Prefecture and businesses and other legal entities established or consisted by these bodies.

3)Technical support to SMEs awareness, information events and organizing such events, encouraging the operation and expansion of sustainable units, adapting these units to new technology requirements and generally to the new situation of the European Economic Area, promotion of business, economic and sustainable development in general of Local Authorities (A and B grade).

4) Technical support to local development programmes on behalf of Local Authorities; encouragement of local productive initiatives and support by any appropriate means to local development in general.

5) Undertaking by Municipal bodies of research, studies, training and other programmes relating to Local Authorities, cooperative organizations of producers and local development.

6) Coordination of development programmes of organizations engaged in planning and technical support in order to implement programmes financed by both national and EU funds.

7) Planning and implementation of programmes to prevent and combat social exclusion, racism, xenophobia and all forms of discrimination.

8) Planning and implementation of rural development programmes in the mountainous or plain areas, programmes on protection and enhancement of the human and natural environment, as well as any programme that promotes the comparative advantages of the of the company's shareholders intervention area.

9) Development of environmental protection activities.

10) Implementation of relevant policies within the inter-municipal or wider geographic area.

11) Implementation of co-financed technical projects, social actions, services and supplies. ANKA. S.A. staff consists of thirty (30) people, of which twenty-nine (29) are employed on permanent basis contracts and 1 with temporary employment contracts. 


France - ADICE 


ADICE has participated in or organised more than 2000 projects of international mobility incorporating over thirty countries (European Union, PECO, developing countries, Canada, the United USA...) in the last 20 years. Mobility is seen as a non-formal educational alternative way to develop professional, personal and social skills to promote participants' carriers with different profiles and expectations. Our mobility projects, characterised by varied destinations, duration and sectors, are adapted to the needs, objectives and profile of every person. It can be missions of short-term or long-term voluntary service or professional internships for job seekers. So, within the framework of our activities we work in the field of nonformal education to provide new opportunities for people facing social and professional difficulties. These projects have been realized in the framework of community programs such as Leonardo DaVinci, Youth in Action or Erasmus+, EU Aid Volunteers and other French and European programmes.


For this reason, we carry out the following tasks as an organisation supporting the INTERGEN project:

- Organisation of the network of local and European partners

- Relationship between the partners and the public

- Project monitoring (ensuring compliance with the charter of quality , activities of the project, the objectives)

- Dissemination of results and the European added value of the action


And the following tasks as sending organisation :

- Outreach and Public Information

- Definition of mobility projects in the participants' personal and professional carriers

- Educational and administrative Preparation of participants

- Monitoring and evaluation of the mobility experience

- Valuation of the mobility experience.


Thanks to more than 20 years’ experience, ADICE has developed tools, practices and methods to enhance the quality of participants' support in international mobility projects from recruitment to their return after their projects.

Italy - ETN School 


The ETN School is a training centre, accredited by MIUR, the Italian Ministry of Education which provides advanced, innovative services connected to education and training. ETN School promotes training programs and initiatives designed to meet the unique learning needs of both private organizations and schools, young and adults. ETN has established a consolidated network of partner Italian secondary VET schools, for which ETN School designs and promotes every year dozens of transnational learning opportunities and initiatives.


ETN designs training courses that are delivered to Italian and European school teachers and cover a wide range of subjects:

+ Job shadowing and its value as a learning practice

+ CEDILS certificate: teaching Italian as a second language

+ Designing, planning and implementing a successful transnational learning experience

+ Teaching gifted and talented students”.


ETN is also actively involved in projects that promote the use of ICT at school, investigating how for instance learning platforms can improve school learning habits. Within this framework, ETN has designed and launched an e-learning platform (etn-elearning) for students and teachers, sharing innovative learning courses focused on:

+ Digital Storytelling

+ Journalism

+ Leadership

+ Public Speaking

+ Storytelling and the promotion of touristic places.


ETN SCHOOL promotes cooperation among European schools in the creation and implementation of projects, mainly Erasmus+, which are an opportunity to experiment, develop and create something meaningful, able to improve the way people learn, teach and share knowledge. ETN is all about, promoting innovative approaches to lifelong learning, facilitating experience exchange around innovative teaching and learning solutions, ensuring empowerment, sustainability and growth, promote entrepreneurial mindset in teaching curricula and student learning.


As part of its international network, ETN will support the dissemination of theINTERGEN project results through tan online magazine: ETN Magazine (www.etnmagazine.com), established in June 2016 and registered at the Potenza Court, with the purpose to narrate about ETN’s experience and the value of training in mobility, with about more than 6800 readers mostly from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, UK, USA, Spain, Germany, Russia and Portugal. The magazine summarizes the daily life of the international training agencies, and also communicates and shares its activities through various social channels that allow you to reach a large number of users: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Linkedin and Spotify.



Iceland - Step by Step


Step by Step is small, but strong innovative training company with the main focus on non-formal training and development on international level. The company has been at the forefront of introducing new, interesting and innovative teaching and training methods in the field of adult education and entrepreneurship. We have long experience in structuring and conducting different research in the labour market as well as working closely with diverse company in many fields, creating, composing and running big training sessions for our partners.


Through our work and projects, we have created different strategies and we have published online books both in the field of adult training and entrepreneurship. We have worked closely with the labour market and we have established extensive network in the adult learning sector.


We have a strong network, extensive experience and for the past decade we have been working with adults in SMEs as well-developed quality training modules for many large companies in Iceland. We have been promoting VET and adult education for years and our experience in working with diverse groups on a non-formal and informal level is profound and wide.


Our organisation participates in the research, development and training network. We have taken on different tasks that allow us to review and improve our educational methods and projects for adults so that they can better ensure their working situations in the future. Our main strength is in our different project experience and our knowledges in approaching adult in the field of training, equality and entrepreneurship.


Through our experience we are powerful in finding the right platform in partners discussion, solving all kinds of obstacles, based on respect and understanding, finding a common goal and getting the work done in good way. This experience and work have made us strong, resourceful and resilient partners.


The company has worked in several international projects as well as some big Icelandic project with the focus on strengthen people ability to deal with changes and to become stronger as a person in ever changing environment. Some of our projects have had a special focus on minorities groups like drug abusers, handicapped, seniors and migrants and the aim is always to find a better ways to facilitate social inclusion.


Our objective is to be able to continue to provide international, professional and sought-after services in the field of adult education and training. With our work and experience we want to improve quality and sustainability and thus contribute to better and more lucrative jobs among our customers. To this effect, the company needs to constantly seek new ways to improve the knowledge, skills, competence and confidence of its employees. We seek to build international and a global network, to be able to increase access to knowledge, culture and international cooperation. 

Associated Partners 


In order to increase the reach of the project in terms of countries, type of partners, & impact of the INTERGEN project, there will be 10 Associated Partners who have each completed a Letter of Interest (Annex 3).


ACB – Associacao Comercial de Braga is the Chamber of Commerce for Braga & the surrounding region. They work with companies and also with both adult learners and employees. They are particularly interested in this project which could have a significant impact on helping both young and old adult learners access the job market, helping to stimulate the economic development of the region.


Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Séville has its own Erasmus+ Charter & all students at both Bachelor & Master levels are encouraged to undertake  a study period of work-based learning abroad. The University is particularly interested in INTERGEN as it could help objectively with life-long learning programmes. The University will also disseminate the results amongst its network of partner universities all over the world.


Berlink is a registered training organisation, based in Berlin. They work specifically with younger adult learners and so the INTERGEN materials will be of value to them. They are also open to developing a new intergenerational programme. 


CIT is the Chamber of Commerce from the Tuscany region in Italy. They will help with dissemination and are interested in the development of innovative initiatives that can help both young and old work together to develop entrepreneurial skills.


Acudemy Learning, London specialises in accredited and bespoke training courses for adults - both individuals and businesses. It is a British training institute based in Central London and is an accredited Training Provider with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI & Pearsons).


The Association Community from Arques France is particularly interesting in testing the INTERGEN project outputs in its day to day activities with people in difficulties in their region.

 

The Latvian Adult Education Institute is responsible for adult education in Latvia and is particularly interested in the INTERGEN project and its 4 outputs. They will be involved in the Experimentation Phase of the project.


The Junior Achievement Latvia is an association that specialises in helping young people develop the formal and non-formal skills necessary to access the job market.


Tyotehoseura is a Finish association that work with long-term adult learners of all ages to tru and motivate them and help them develop their employability skills.


Mannauour from Iceland is an organisation that works with adult learners of all ages. They are particularly interested in being involved in the testing phase of the INTERGEN project.


These partners include universities, associations, training centres, a business association, a mobility service provider, a cultural body & a chamber of commerce. This will help to increase the breadth & impact of the project. They will be invited to meetings, focus groups & to the project conferences & have agreed to cover costs from their own funds. Several have also agreed to take part in the Testing Phase of the project for the intellectual outputs.
